In other news, Bad has been played over 11,600 times on Vimeo, downloaded over 550 times, and our Facebook group has reached over 300 fans. It's been a good month. Thanks to everyone who has watched the movie, and especially those that have recommended it to others. You're supporting not only our movie, but truly independent filmmakers everywhere.

Bad is Bad featured on Philip Bloom's blog

Philip Bloom is a great cinematographer and filmmaker with a large online following. He's also a pioneer in DSLR filmmaking, and his early videos using cameras like ours are what convinced us to use the Canon 7d for our projects. Today he featured Bad is Bad on his blog and as a result over 2,000 people have watched it since this afternoon. Check out the article here-

Bad is Bad reactions and Oh Good's next project...

It has been just over three weeks since we put Bad is Bad online, and the response we've received already has been far greater than we expected. Almost 2,400 people from all over the world have watched the movie, which is no small number for a 96 minute film. But besides that, their feedback has been extremely positive. We're very flattered by the superlatives our viewers have been throwing at the movie, and we can't say how satisfying it is to finally know that the project we've spent so many countless hours on is finally being seen and enjoyed by a large audience.

In the next week or so I'll hopefully have confirmation on at least one exciting bit of news regarding Bad is Bad, but for now it's worth mentioning a couple of websites where the movie has been featured so far:

In other news, over the past couple of weeks Chris and I have been outlining the script for our next project - a 20 minute short film. This new movie will be mostly comedy, with doses of action and tense drama thrown in the mix as well. It will without a doubt be the most entertaining movie we've ever made, featuring a great fast-paced plot acted out by some really compelling characters. In terms of what the story is about, all I can tell you is that it involves a big bag of money...think No Country for Old Men meets Superbad. This will be a
very serious project for us, so we probably won't be ready to film until the spring semester.
